TexFinderX is a powerful and accurate tool to search and replace text inside entire folders.
It is the fully rewrited version of the old TexFinder, now MacOS X and Windows XP compatible. |
Main features

Just drop the folder to scan onto TexFinderX's main window if TexFinderX is already opened - on Macintosh, you can drop directly the folder to scan onto the TexFinderX's icon - and start searching and replacing text.
Replacement Tables allow to replace multiple strings of characters in one pass.
TexFinderX allows you to create your own Replacement Tables in order to fit your needs. |

Requirements
- Any Macintosh with OS X or PC with Windows XP
- Please note that Windows' version of TexFinderX has not been fully tested and is actually not supported

TexFindeX is distributed as freeware, so it can be used for free but can not be sold.
Version history
- 1.10 - 11/15/2007. Recent scanned folders list is now saved. Transfert results to Listing now transfers only selected files. "Select All" in Search and Replace window fixed. Files with long name are now correctly handled.
- 1.00 - 10/10/2007. Choice to clear Listing when adding files or folders added. Transfert results to Listing buttons added. Main window position is now stored between sessions. Sorting results buttons fixed.
- 0.6b - 06/22/2007. Listing bug fixed. "LineFeed to CR" replacement table fixed - thanx Lau ;)
